Catalog Description:

The internship provides structured on-the-job training in a library or information agency. Students will work at an approved library or information agency with an assigned site supervisor. In addition to the supervised on-the-job training, students will meet online regularly using chat and/or discussion forums to communicate with each other.

Internship Opportunities

Be thinking early about what you might want to do for your internship.  May is not too soon to plan for an internship that will start in September.  Many locations have deadlines for applying for internships and practicums that significantly precede the start of MCTC's semesters, most notably Hennepin County Library.
