I have a beautiful hand painted Tibetan mandala that I would like to share with you all.  It was painted by Tibetan monks on a dense fabric measuring approximately 11x17".  It appears to have been cut out of a larger tankha, it lacks the fabric border that is typical of these types of images.  I scanned it in sections, and tiled them together to make a composite image of it.  Since the mandala is very detailed, I left the image large, so you can download it, and look at it more closely.  Actually, the scan reveals more details than you can see looking at the actual thing, because it is smaller than the scan makes it look.

To download and view it, click here.  It is about 1.5 megabytes, which will take 10-20 minutes over a telephone dial-up connection.
