In my classes
I use the computer and a projector to place many sentences that
are used in the class up for all to see, and then view at home--no
need to write the notes yourself. I call it the "ciberpizarra"
or cyberblackboard.
At the beginning of each semester, the content placed here
comes from last year's class. New pages will be added,
and sometimes content from old pages will be placed into the
new.
Learning the organizational system I use for this site will
help you go directly to the desired ciberpizarra quickly after
class from any computer.
Memorize my base URL: www.mctc.mnscu.edu/~witwerda/
Then you can access your ciberpizarra using this formula:
SPAN 1000 Beginning Spanish I--add to the base url: 10blackboard
SPAN 1100 Beginning Spanish II--add to the base url: 11blackboard
SPAN 2000 Intermediate Spanish I--add to the base url: 20blackboard
SPAN 2100 Intermediate Spanish II--add to the base url: 21blackboard
To access other course specific material, use the same numbering
system, and these tags to the base url: span10
span11 span20 span21
To access the grammar tutorials, add the tag: grammar
To access the vocabulary lists (mostly for 2nd year, because
the 2nd year text doesn't provide convenient, compiled vocab
lists like the 1st year book) add the tag:
vocab
By setting the system up like this, it's easy to type quick
URL's in so you can avoid downloading unnecessary pages that
lead to that page, and you can remember it easier for use at
any computer with internet access.
